A twenty-storey building called Avia Tower will be built next to the Jumbo shopping centre.
A twenty-storey building called Avia Tower will be built next to Ring Road III, between the Jumbo shopping centre and the Lentoasemantie road. The maximum height of the tower was determined by the airport´s building height restriction, which is +100 metres above sea-level. An invited competition was held two years ago to convert the area which is currently the Jumbo shopping centre car park, and the local detailed plan will be revised according to the winning proposal, ‘Kolibri´, that was submitted by Davidsson Architects.
The revision of the local detailed plan means that the block´s building rights will increase from the current 10,000 to 17,000 floor square metres and the number of storeys from 16 to 20. Business premises have been planned for the ground floor of the building and parking facilities for the basement. Pension Fennia owns the land.

20,000 m2 is available for leasing for office and logistical purposes. The logistics halls will be eight metres high, and the five-storey office building will be in the business park style.
As the facility is still in the marketing phase, the premises can be designed in line with user needs.
Kuriiri ("Courier") is an office building in its marketing phase, to be situated on Kuriiritie street, next to Ring Road III. The location guarantees both good accessibility and excellent visibility. Kuriiri will have more than 7,000 m2 of office space, from which premises of various sizes tailored for companies´ individual needs can be leased.
The Ostospuisto Tammisto retail park will complement the business concentration at Aviapolis. There are already more than 8,000 m2 of business premises available for leasing that can be divided into smaller parts. The proximity of the Valimotie road and the abundance of parking places will ensure good accessibility for consumers.
